Cause of Death for Anna Nicole Smith

Well, it's official, Anna Nicole Smith died very much like her idol, Marilyn Monroe, under mysterious circumstances, but it was declared an accidental OD. At least she didn't suffer, she just went to sleep. I still think that she was over-medicating her broken heart after her son, Daniel's tragic death. I grew very fond of Smith since watching her reality show on the E Channel. She was plump and voluptuous and sometimes temperamental but always lovable, entertaining, and even hilarious. And all these guys claiming to be the father of Dannylinn. They think they are going to get the baby and the money. It's very sad for the baby. The mother of Anna Nicole just wanted to take her body back to Texas so she could make money out of people coming to visit the grave. She seems, from what Anna Nicole said, to be a horrible mother who used to beat her. It's all so tragic and a circus. What I admire about Smith is she had big dreams, she was a very nice person, and she was a beauty, an absolutely gorgeous, sexy beautiful girl. RIP Anna Nicole and Daniel Smith.

I Love Loveline but....

I'm listening to Loveline, the radio talk show that gives advice about sex, relationships, and addictions. I love this show. I am a longtime listener. The only thing that gets to me is that Dr. Drew just tells people point blank that they are an abuse survivor, for instance, without softening the news and sometimes gets off the call immediately after. Radio is not the venue for receiving therapy. It's good for the listeners but for the people calling in it can be a belittling and disrespectful experience.

As time goes on, my age group is farther away from that of the people calling in, for the most part, but the topics of conversation are generally of interest to me and I find that I agree with the advice given. It's just that sometimes the answers come swift and unfeeling.

I guess, this goes for all talk shows that bring on people with problems. They aren't going to solve everything in five minutes or even an hour. I suggest one go see a therapist they can trust.
